In the parched scrubland and panoramic skies of West Texas, bloodshed and mayhem erupt after Vietnam veteran turned hunter, Llewellyn Moss (Josh Brolin) stumbles across the aftermath of a drug deal gone wrong.
Amid the bloodied crime scene, he finds a pickup truck loaded with heroin and two million dollars in cash, but when he flees with the money he sets off a chain of unremitting violence that not even the law, represented by disillusioned Sherriff Bell (Tommy Lee-Jones), can bring to an end.
No Country for Old Men is Joel and Ethan Coen’s most gripping and accomplished film to date which also won them this year’s Best Director BAFTA.
