  Small Town Folk on DVD
  Rural horror
Small Town Folk is a fantastic British horror with a difference, a chilling slasher with a large dose of black humour. It makes its terrifying DVD debut on 23 June 2008, courtesy of DNC Entertainment.

Peter Stanley Ward makes his directorial debut with this warped horror, that pays homage to greats such as Texas Chainsaw Massacre but with laughs aplenty. Starring Warwick Davies (Star Wars, Harry Potter), this original local production was produced, filmed and funded in the UK.

Resting high above the mysterious town of Grockelton, eerie Beesley Manor is governed by an evil landlord with a heartless desire to continue his family name. Along with his hideous siblings and associate in-breds they hunt for suitableprey - any woman to bear their children. When a young couple accidentally stumble into their lair, they find themselves to be the underdogs in a savage bloody battle. Joined by the only decent local, the three unlikely heroes must avoid a violent slaughtering.

With terrifying performances from the cast and set in a freakishly bizarre location, this is fantasy horror must see.

“A unique blend of horror and humour that hits the bullseye every time… servesup horror on a platter of red and humour of darkest black… a must see” Gorezone
