Actor Brad Renfro has been found dead in Los Angeles; he was only 25. He had been plagued with drug and alcohol problems for some years, leading to brushes with the law, but continued working in cult movies such as Apt Pupil, Bully, Ghost World and The Jacket. He had begun his career as a youngster in a pivotal role in The Client in 1994 and went on to appear in starry melodrama Sleepers before more indie projects came his way. He had recently finished filming on The Informers, a Bret Easton Ellis adaptation.
