Idiot in charge spots stoopid mistake... and annouces competition to make up for it
Ahem... sorry ladies and gentleman, but tonight whilst disabling the "Report Abusive Post" button on the forums (to all but site members), I noticed a coding mistake which has probably been there since day one.
Basically, members of the site were stopped from adding new posts to existing threads... only site Administrators and above had the privilege to do it.
No wonder we have a distinct lack of posts! Anyway, to celebrate this new found functionality I've decided to offer a prize to the best post this month. Not sure what that is yet, probably a DVD, but whatever - you can be certain it's only a catch to get some interesting posts and kick off the resurrection of the forums!
