Review: 100% hardcore and 100% filmed in backyards, Backyard Wrestling (BYW) does exactly what it says on the tin and brings wrestling in from the back yard and into the comfort of your own home / trailer.

Although I have seen the antics of Stunning Steve Austin and co on the satellite, I was not prepared for what every day, extraordinary folk are capable of in their backyards. Most of us accept that the action seen on WWF and the like is scripted and choreographed by professional athletes, and although often looks dangerous, the action is well managed in order to maximise the safety of athletes. The Wrestlers in BYW have no regard for safety. The matches in BYW are REAL!

American Wrestling has always struck me as a gay sport. The stars are totally obsessed with their image and obviously enjoy mincing around the ring. I have always questioned whether it is suitable viewing for children? BYW has made my mind up for good, Wrestling teaches Freedom and the American way, to not be afraid to wear spandex and shout at your enemy, and if they still don't listen, pick them up and suplex them until they do!

Seriously kids don't try this at home, leave wrestling to the big boys.
