Tartan Set To Unleash Chaos... [read more]
...and Save The Green Planet to boot
Tartan Asia Extreme have two new releases coming our way next week. First there’s Chaos, a psychological thriller from Ring and Dark Water director Hideo Nakata, telling of the kidnapping of a businessman’s wife - but in keeping with Asian cinema’s continually increasing - albeit not unwelcome - perchant for bizarreness, things aren’t quite what they seem. It’s gonna be pretty dark stuff for sure, so you can cheer yourself up later with Save The Green Planet, a goofball sci-fi comedy from award-winning Korean director Jeong Ju-Hwan, involving a conspiracy by aliens from Andromeda to take over planet earth - by all accounts this has the dark humour and quirky flavour of an Eastern Tim Burton and comes as a two DVD box set. Both are released by Tartan Asia Extreme on March 21st.
