Internationally celebrated film distributor THE CRITERION COLLECTION and London's historic REGENT STREET CINEMA are partnering to bring important classic and contemporary films to new audiences as part of a new monthly screening series.

The series of screening events begin with the launch of The Criterion Collection's new Blu-ray reissue of Terry Gilliam's compassionate, funny, modern-day myth THE FISHER KING.

Starring Robin Williams and Jeff Bridges, this tender-hearted tale of love and madness is a fairy tale grounded in poignant reality.

Upcoming launch events and screenings as part of the series also include Andrei Tarkovsky's STALKER on July 19th and Peter Brook’s THE LORD OF THE FLIES on August 24th with further upcoming events treating cineastes to special Q&As and introductions over the course of the next few months.
