  A classic example of the women in prison genre, Ilsa The Wicked Warden is a must-see for fans of exploitation cinema and the works of Jess Franco. As well as featuring the director himself, the film also stars Franco regulars Lina Romay (Barbed Wire Dolls; Jack The Ripper; Doriana Grey) and Tania Busselier (The Perverse Countess; How To Seduce A Virgin).

Ilsa The Wicked Warden (cert. 18) will be released on DVD (£12.99) by Anchor Bay UK on 26th April 2004. Special Features include widescreen presentation (enhanced for 16 x 9 TVs with transfer supervised by cinematographer Peter Baumgartner), collection of interviews, featurette on the restoration of the film, trailers, cast and crew biographies, extensive production stills gallery.
