  Halloween 25th Anniversary Edition hits DVD.
  In 1978 the critically acclaimed and publicly worshipped John Carpenter's Halloween literally changed the face of horror cinema. Now, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of what many regard to be the greatest horror film of all time, Anchor Bay UK is releasing a stunning new version of John Carpenter's classic.

Special Features on Disc One include audio commentary by director and co-writer John Carpenter, producer and co-writer Debra Hill and star Jamie Lee Curtis, widescreen presentation (2.35:1 enhanced for 16 x 9 TVs), a brand new DiViMax high definition transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 sound.

A second disc of Bonus Materials includes: "Halloween – A Cut Above The Rest", an all new 87-minute documentary featuring interviews with director John Carpenter, stars Jamie Lee Curtis, PJ Soles, Nick Castle and Charles Cyphers, producer Debra Hill, director of photography Dean Cundey, editor and production designer Tommy Lee Wallace, executive producers Irwin Yablans and Moustapha Akkad, and others; "On Location – 25 Years Later", an all new featurette with actress PJ Soles and producer Debra Hill revisiting the film's locations including the original Myers house; theatrical trailer; TV and radio spots; poster and stills gallery; talent biographies; DVD-ROM content featuring the original screenplay plus screensavers.

The 2-disc Anniversary Edition DVD will be released by Anchor Bay UK on 27th October 2003 priced at £17.99.
